Buying a home with money from crypto?
Solicitors and lenders must check where a deposit came from. Crypto is hard to trace, so they often ask for more evidence, and some turn crypto money away. We reconstruct the trail from the money you put in to the money that reached your bank.
Exchange or completion date coming up? Tell us at the free check and we'll say whether we can meet it.
We will never ask for passwords, API keys or seed phrases.
Sound familiar?
- Your solicitor has asked how you built up your deposit
- Crypto proceeds mixed in with your savings
- Coins moved between several wallets and exchanges over the years
- Gains you are not sure were reported
What the report shows
- Where the money to buy crypto came from: transfers from your bank into exchanges
- Every move between your wallets and exchanges, matched
- Sales and withdrawals to your UK bank account, with dates and amounts
- Capital gains figures for each sale, so you can check they were reported
- A summary your solicitor can follow, backed by the full transaction trail
We need your exchange exports, your wallet addresses and the bank statements showing money moving to and from exchanges. We send a checklist.
What it is not
The report sets out the facts in your records. It does not confirm that funds are lawful, and it does not replace your solicitor's or lender's own checks. Whether they accept it is their decision.
Start early if you can
Talk to us before you sell. Keeping crypto proceeds in a separate account, rather than mixing them with savings, makes the trail much easier to follow.
Price
From £249, depending on how complex your activity is and how much history the trail covers. The exact price is fixed at the free check, before any work starts.
